Privacy Policy — LoFOD

Last updated: July 27, 2026

The short version

LoFOD has no accounts, collects no personal data, and shows no third-party ads. What you eat and how you feel is health information, and it stays on your phone.

What the app stores

Your meals, symptoms, reintroduction tests, favourites and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. They are never transmitted to us, and we have no server that could receive them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Export

The export feature writes a CSV file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes after that — email, Files, your dietitian — is entirely your choice; it does not pass through us.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. To validate purchases we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous purchase receipt and a random app-generated identifier — never your name, email or Apple ID, and never any of your health data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. If you install the app after tapping an Apple Search Ads ad, Apple may share an anonymous attribution token indicating the ad worked; it identifies the ad, not you.

Notifications

Reminders and check-ins are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server.

Children

The app is intended for adults managing their own digestive health and is not directed at children under 13.
