Find out which foods are actually setting you off
A low FODMAP food guide with safe serving sizes, and a food and symptom diary that spots the pattern for you. No accounts, no ads, works offline.
Coming soon to the App Store
What's in it
- 600+ foods rated low, moderate or high FODMAP, with the safe serving size and which FODMAP groups each one contains.
- Meat, fish, eggs, oils, herbs and spices included — the plain staples most FODMAP lists leave out, so you can log a real meal.
- Label warnings on the composite foods that hide onion and garlic powder: stock cubes, gravy, sauces, sausages and seasoning blends.
- Food and symptom diary — log what you ate and how you felt, and the app correlates them over 14 and 30 days.
- Reintroduction tracker for testing FODMAP groups one at a time, with a tolerance summary you can apply back to the food guide.
- Every rating shows its source, so you can see where a number came from instead of trusting a nameless list.
Where the data comes from
Ratings are drawn from published research on FODMAP food composition, and each entry carries its citation in the app. Foods that are low FODMAP because they contain essentially no carbohydrate — plain meat, fish, eggs and pure oils — cite their USDA nutrient basis. Composite foods whose FODMAP load depends on the manufacturer's recipe are shown as unrated with label guidance, because a guessed rating on an IBS app is worse than no rating.
LoFOD is an educational tool, not medical advice, and is not affiliated with Monash University. Monash remains the clinical reference for FODMAP measurement — if you want lab-measured values for every food, their app is the one to buy.
